Golf Betting Update – Furyk Wins Second Tournament of the Year while Phil and Tiger Eye a Return at Quail Hollow

Jim Furyk won his second tournament of the year when Brian Davis committed a penalty by touching a blade of grass with his wedge while trying to hit the ball out of the sand on the first playoff hole of Sunday’s final round in the Verizon Heritage. Davis played brilliantly to force the playoff.

Golf Update: Els Proves Best Again

It took a 71 4th round on Monday, but Ernie Els did it again. The WGC-CA winner proved best in his second straight tournament when shooting a 277 and beating Edoardo Molinari and Kevin Na by 2 strokes, -11 to -9. It proved that Els is indeed back.
Ernie hadn’t won a tournament since 2008.
